Greece: Dimitris Lignadis, called to give explanations as a suspect to a new case of sexual harassment of minor
In Greece, a front page article showed a picture of a prominent theatre director, a suspect in a sexual harassment case, who was escorted in handcuffs for his deposition. Such media publications released during the stage of investigation could harm the suspect’s public image, shift social perceptions and imply a presumption of guilt.
